January 18-20, 2008
Members of Crew 110
participated in the Simon Kenton Council Venturing Arctic
Weekend at Camp Falling Rock in Newark, OH. This activity
was planned and run by Jhediah B. This outing had a good
turn out of Venturers from all over our council.
December, 2007
Our crew hosted a
winter activity/fellowship where we invited other crews.
Activities included Atlatl, Tomahawk, Archery, and Rifle
Shooting. Although the other crews canceled for various
reasons we still had a good outing. We changed the
schedule from a weekend to just a Saturday. There were
other scout groups at the camp and we invited them to
participate in our activities.
November, 2007
Jhediah B. was
elected as Vice-President of Outdoors for the Simon Kenton
Council Venturing Officers Association.
October, 2007
The members of Crew
110, chartered to our church, participated in a camporee held at
Chief Logan Reservation (our local scout camp). The theme
of this camporee was "Back to Basics". This was a
competition between different scout groups. Our crew
placed 3rd in the scout skills challenge. You can see our
ribbons hanging on the bulletin board in the church hallway.
